University of Madras, Chennai invites prescribed format of applications form eligible Persons for filling up of 22 Vacancies of Professors in the University Departments situated at Chepauk, Marina, Guindy and Taramani campuses. Ph.D candidates apply on or before 23rd June 2014.
Educational Qualifications:
(a) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification in the discipline concerned/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policypapers.
(b) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
Selection Process: Interview.
Application Fee: Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.500/- [Rs.250/- for SC/ST/DAP] towards the cost of application. The Demand Draft shall be drawn in favour of the 'The Registrar, University of Madras', payable at Chennai.
