WB Health & Family Welfare Dept Recruitment 2014 – Apply Online for 2315 Medical Officer Posts: West Bengal Health Department has released notification for recruitment of the Medical Officers (both General Duty & Specialist) in cadre of West Bengal Health Service and Block Medical Officer of Healths (Basic public health cum administrative officer) in West Bengal Public Health cum Administrative Services under Health & Family Welfare Department. iv. Anaesthesia: 96 Posts
v. Ophthamology: 20 Posts
vi. Otorhinoloaryngology: 20 Posts
vii. Dermatology: 15 Posts
viii. Microbiology/ Pathology: 15 Posts
ix. Paediatric Medicine: 90 Posts
x. Orthopaedic Surgery: 30 Posts
xi. Radiodiagnosis: 22 Posts
xii. Psychiatry: 10 Posts
xiii. Medico-legal: 12 Posts
Age Limit: Candidate age limit should not more than 32 years for ordinary graduates and 40 years for those possessing post graduate qualification. Age limit should be reckoned as on 01-04-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Medical qualifications included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and Registration Practitioner in West Bengal.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.210/-either by net banking or offline through Bank Counter in any branch of Banks participating in the GRIPS (Govt Reciept Portal System). Govt Receipt Head of Account is ’0051-00-104-002-16′. Govt of West Bengal through duplicate challan will be generated after filling up the online application form. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category of West Bengal and persons with disabilities specified under disabilities are exempted from payment of fees.
Selection Process: Candidate would be selected based on their performance in examination/ interview.
