Educational Requirements: At least 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Indian History or Political Science or Sociology from a recognized University or equivalent.
Qualifications: Doctorate Degree in History or Political Science or Sociology.
Experience Requirements: Minimum one year experience in conducting research in the respective branch of study. (Qualifications relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified).

Fernandes Stationery Supplier, Printers & Book Binders, Opposite Municipal Garden, Panaji, are authorized to sell the prescribed application form @ Rs. 20/- per set. Candidate can also download and use the application form available at GPSC website. The Commission does not take the responsibility of supplying application forms by post. Candidates should see the GPSC website for latest updated “Instructions”. Candidates shall note that the Application Fee is enhanced to Rs. 400/- for General Category Candidates and those for SC, ST, OBC, Physically Handicapped and Ex-serviceman, it is 50% of the Application Fee i.e. Rs. 200/-. The application form should be accompanied by an Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft for the amount equivalent to the application fee payable to “The Secretary GOA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION” payable at Panjim.
