Educational Requirements: Ph.D. in Demography/Bio-Medical Science/Environmental Science/Life Science/ Statistics/ Mathematics/Public Health/Preventive and Social Medicine/Biostatistics or in any Social Science subjects listed in ICSSR with specialization in Population Studies with minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or experience in research at the university/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National Level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level, and research in Population Studies, preferably in the area of Public Health and/or Mortality at a University or National Institution.
Experience Requirements: Experience of having successfully guided students for the Award of Ph.D. degree in Population Studies and/or at least 10 publications out of which 5 should be in peer reviewed journals in the area of Public Health & Mortality.
